Celebrate GA Charter Schools
and National Charter Schools Week
To kick off听National Charter Schools Week, (May 6-12)听听补苍诲听are pleased to announce the听2nd听础苍苍耻补濒听Charter Schools Rock.听This is a free, community celebration of Georgia鈥檚 public Charter Schools, on Sunday,May 5, in the Central Park area of Atlantic Station, from 2-5 pm.
Charter Schools Rock听showcases the strength of the charter school movement in Georgia and the tremendous achievements of our students. The high spirited program will feature student performances from some of metro Atlanta鈥檚 best charter schools, some special guests, and information about public charter school options.听
The event will also be an important opportunity to educate the general public听Constitutional Amendment supporting charter schools that will be on the 2012 ballot in November.
Charter Schools Rock will feature:
- Exuberant performances by student groups from Georgia鈥檚 high-achieving public charter schools
- Special Guests
- Information about Georgia鈥檚 high performing public charter schools
- Information about the GA Constitutional Amendment
- Meet leaders from the Georgia Charter School Movement and educate your parents on the importance of passing the Charter School Amendment in November
- Special appearance by “The King of Pops” 鈥� Atlanta鈥檚 fresh fruit popsical vendor

Contract for Charter Schools Rock 2012
Last year we offered 8 free tables for 91吃瓜 Member Schools at Charter Schools Rock. This year we are providing up to 20 free tables to Member School tables to meet the increased demand! - We will assign each school a performing timeslot of up to 15 minutes length
- All member schools and exhibitors will get 1 skirted, tented table and 2 chairs (there is no electricity)
- We need your firm commitment by April 15h, 2012
