The Georgia General Assemblys House and Senate Page Programs offer public school students ages 12+, a unique chance serve their state representatives while the General Assembly is in session.
The Legislative session opens in early January and runs for 40 days. Charter school students are encouraged to apply, and their presence in the Capitol is a powerful way to represent the charter school movement.
Students act as runners in the Capitol, delivering important information and messages in the Senate and House Chambers during the Legislative Session day. Students are assigned to serve on days when the General Assemblyis session and attend a brief orientation on their day of service.
