Georgia Charter Schools Association’s Board of Directors is excited to welcome three new members – Dr. Kim Harrington, Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Special Initiatives at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Christopher T. Sanders, Executive Director of East Metro CID and Jessica Story, Senior Manager at Warren Averett.
Harrington will serve on 91³Ô¹Ï’s Board Governance and School Success committees; Sanders will join 91³Ô¹Ï’s Policy and Advocacy and Finance committees and Story will serve on 91³Ô¹Ï’s Advocacy and Policy and Finance Committees.
Meanwhile, two longtime members of 91³Ô¹Ï’s Board of Directors have completed their terms of service – Cynthia Kuhlman, Director of Educational Achievement for the CF Foundation and S. Gordon Moore Jr., Executive Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion at the Georgia Institute of Technology. 91³Ô¹Ï is grateful for their commitment and expertise. During their tenures, both served three two-year terms. Kuhlman co-chaired 91³Ô¹Ï’s Advocacy and Policy Committee and served as a member of 91³Ô¹Ï’s Board Governance and Finance committees. Moore chaired 91³Ô¹Ï’s Board Governance Committee and was a member of 91³Ô¹Ï’s Executive review committee. As they leave 91³Ô¹Ï, Kuhlman is joining the board of Purpose Built Schools Atlanta and Moore will become a board member at Charles R. Drew Charter School, where Kuhlman serves as a member and former co-chair.
