Georgia Charter Schools Association is thrilled to have been selected as a member of the Policy Innovators in Action (PIE). The PIE Network works to connect state-level education advocacy organizations from across the country to amplify their voices and maximize their impact.
Pie Network members play an important role in K-12 education advocacy within their states. Members collaborate with other local education reform advocates; bring evidence and data to the policy-making process in their states; raise awareness about critical issues facing public schools, including those identified by the Network; engage and mobilize key constituencies in the policy-making process; challenge others to reconsider known problems that no one seeks to change; and bring together diverse interests to come up with forward-looking solutions for difficult challenges.
The PIE Network is made up of 97 advocacy organizations and 24 national partners in 36 states. In Georgia, 91³Ô¹Ï joins coalition members GeorgiaCAN and the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education as Network members.
