Elisa Falcó Promoted to Executive VP of School Success

Elisa Falcó has been promoted to 91³Ô¹Ï’s Executive Vice President of School Success. She began working with 91³Ô¹Ï as a consultant in the area of quality initiatives. Then 91³Ô¹Ï hired her as Director of Education & Training. In that role, she led the expansion of existing training programs as well as the development of new programs. In 2014, Falcó was promoted to Vice President of School Services. Since her promotion as VP of School Services in 2014, she has led the school services team to expand the team’s impact throughout the state of Georgia. Her goal has always been to assist as many charter schools as possible in their quest to be of the highest-quality.

In this new role, Falcó will continue her work of increasing the impact of 91³Ô¹Ï’s programs and services while also developing new programs that support school success.

She is a trusted authority on the charter landscape in Georgia and has worked in the industry since 2003. She supported the creation of 91³Ô¹Ï’s GaTAPP program, an alternative certification program led by master teachers. She and her team also train the majority of the leadership and charter school governing boards in Georgia.

As the former principal of Tech High School in Atlanta, she led the school’s charter renewal effort, which resulted in a new five-year agreement with the Atlanta Public Schools. Additionally, she led Tech High to receive a five-year accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools In 2009, Falcó served on the Governor’s Teacher Effectiveness Committee that helped develop the state’s Race-to-the-Top grant.

Prior to working at Tech High, she worked as a high school Spanish teacher, and in the private sector as a program coordinator and systems analyst.

Falcó earned a Bachelor’s degree (Spanish Language and Literature) from Georgia State University, a teaching certification from Chapman University (Santa Maria, CA), and a Master’s degree in education and business administration from Arizona State University, where she participated in the Leadership for Educational Entrepreneurs (LEE) Program. The LEE program was designed to prepare educators and/or members of the business community for charter school leadership.
