Krystal Apke is a sixth grade science and Reading/ELA teacher at Spring Creek Charter Academy. The parent who nominated Mrs. Apke describes her a caring educator who does everything in her power to ensure students are succeeding in and out of the classroom.
鈥淢rs. Apke goes above and beyond for her students. She is fun, energetic, spunky, creative, and focus driven. She cares deeply for each child and their education,鈥� says the Spring Creek Charter Academy parent who nominated Mrs. Apke. 鈥淪he personally reaches out to us if there are ever any areas of concern for our child. If a student is in need and their family is unable to provide it, Mrs. Apke gets it for them. These students are like her own children, and her love for them shows. She is a gem, one in a million.
Mrs. Apke has helped our child cope well with the changes made during COVID-19. We were not happy about the face mask rule, but Mrs. Apke brings a sense a peace to the room that helps deter our child鈥檚 attention away from all that. She was very assertive and helpful during the time frame of distance learning and kept in constant contact with us to let us know what areas our child needed to work on.鈥�
