Amana Academy is one of only four schools globally to win a $2,000 grant as part of the . Kindergarten students and teachers at the Fulton County public charter school won the grant after participating in the philanthropy challenge. During the challenge, students got active in order to provide protein-rich meals globally and plant trees locally. The Kindergarten classes were able to donate 186 meals and plant 118 trees, which qualified them for the global sweepstakes.
