The Georgia General Assembly’s House and Senate Page Programs offer public school students ages 12+, a unique chance serve their state representatives while the General Assembly is in session. The 2015 session opens on Monday, January 12, 2015 and runs for 40 days. Charter school students are encouraged to apply!
Students act as “runners” in the Capitol, delivering important information and messages in the Senate and House Chambers during the Legislative Session day. Students are assigned to serve on days when the General AssemblyÌýis session and attend a brief orientation on their day of service.Ìý
Serving as a Page can beÌýa life changing and terrific resume-building opportunity for youngÌýscholars.ÌýTo apply, students must first send an email request to their State Senator or State Representative.Ìý
