The Georgia Charter Schools Association (91勛圖) will host a free interactive webinar for individuals interested in starting a high-quality charter school, 8-9 p.m., April 27. The purpose of this FREE interactive webinar, Getting Started Opening a High Quality Charter School, is to set expectations for new founders about the requirements for opening a high quality charter school in Georgia.
CharterLeader Educational Leadership Module will be conducted for current or potential leaders covering skills and compentencies in hiring, retaining, developing, and leading a high quality charter school staff and instructional program.
The CharterLeader Business Module will provide training to current or potential charter school leaders related to the business aspects of running a high quality charter school.
CharterStart 101 for registered participants will be conducted.
CharterStart (full program) registration and deposit is DUE for participation in the summer cohort.
CharterLeader seeks to help aspiring educational professionals accelerate their path to being charter school leaders, while also taking current school leaders to the next level. The program combines intensive modules in educational and school business leadership, unavailable in conventional graduate schools of education.

To this end, we have created CharterPolicy, a set of policy template offerings to assist boards with adopting sound policies. We now have available federal policy templates.
